These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Karumac ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

The App is a cleanup tool that analyzes your Mac's disk space and helps identify and remove unnecessary files. It provides file explanations and safety assessments through conversations with the AI character "Karuma-shi."

2. Requirements

• A Mac running macOS 12 or later is required
• An internet connection is required for the AI chat feature
• macOS "Full Disk Access" permission is required for scan and cleanup functions

3. Pricing Plans

• Free Plan: Scanning and a first-time cleanup trial are available for free
• Paid Plans: Karuma-shi (¥480/month) and Super Karuma-shi (¥980/month) monthly subscriptions are available
• Paid plans can be cancelled at any time. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the billing period
• Prices may change without prior notice. Current subscribers will be notified before any changes take effect

4. File Deletion Disclaimer

While the App provides the best possible safety assessments for files, file deletion is performed at the user's own judgment and responsibility.

• AI explanations are provided as reference information and are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate
• Deleted files may not be recoverable
• The developer is not liable for data loss resulting from use of the App

5. Prohibited Activities

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Redistributing, lending, or reselling the App
• Using the App for unauthorized purposes
• Excessive API calls through abuse of the AI chat feature

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App and its content (including the "Karuma-shi" character design, text, images, etc.) belong to the developer.

7. Service Changes & Termination

The developer may modify features or terminate the App with prior notice. If paid plan services are terminated, refunds will be provided for the remaining subscription period.

8. Disclaimer

• The App is provided "as is"
• macOS updates may temporarily affect functionality
• Internet connectivity issues may prevent AI features from working

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Fukuoka District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be announced within the App or on our website.
